In this assignment, I explored the possibilities of typography, attempted to create interesting positive and negative spaces, and experimented with the elements of design. I experimented with scale, balance, space, form, movement, repetition, and tension and carried those ideas throughout.

Spring 2023 - Advanced Typography
After researching typography at the UGA Special Collections Library, I designed my own typeface called Daisy Duke, inspired by Italian Broadside Posters. I created my typeface and created a type specimen book to display my work. I finished it off by printing it on the risograph printer.
